Established in 1982, the Wicklow 200 is Ireland’s premier cycling sportive. The 42nd edition will take place on Sunday the 8th of June 2025 with a new start point at Russborough House and two brand new routes..
The Wicklow 200 – and its partner event the Wicklow 100 Challenge - take in many of the most iconic climbs in Ireland’s ‘Garden County’ in an event that is among the most arduous and revered annual cycling events in the sportive calendar.
The ride takes place every June and attracts cyclists from many different countries. As the name suggests, the event covers over 200 kilometres around Co. Wicklow, a major international cycling destination.
The shorter Wicklow 100 Challenge takes place on the same day, and takes in half the course of the Wicklow 200.
